Hugh Garnett taught me more than simply economics, he was an important part of my years at Austin College, he inspired me to push myself and get that double Business and Economics major and pushed me every bit of the way to my graduation Magna Cum Laude on time with two young daughters. I know I could not have done it without his determination and hours of help making the macro connections. He was an amazing example of what a college professor should be and I consider myself blessed to have studied under him, RIP Hugh Garnett.
