Kate (Moore) McCord ’50 died peacefully at her home on June
24. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, July 11, at 10 a.m.
at Grand Avenue Presbyterian Church. A reception will follow in the Wright
Campus Center Living Room at Austin College. Inurnment will be held at Highland
Park Presbyterian Church in Dallas at 4 p.m.Read the obituary.

I have such fond memories of Kate. I will especially miss her loving smile and kind words each time I saw her. I will miss her dearly, just as I continue to miss Slats. It is comforting to know they are together again for eternity. They touched so many lives and I will always cherish their love and friendship. Bill Crook
